Fluffy, savory biscuits packed with garlic and herbs. These Thrive Field Cassava Flour biscuits are perfect for pairing with soups, salads, or as a hearty sandwich base.
INGREDIENTS (MAKES 8 BISCUITS)
1 1/2 cups Thrive Fields Cassava Flour (6 oz, 3/8 of a 16 oz pack)
1 Tbsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp dried parsley
1/2 tsp dried thyme
1/4 cup cold coconut oil or butter
2/3 cup unsweetened non- dairy milk or regular milk
DIRECTION
Preheat oven to 400 °F (200 °C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, whisk cassava flour, baking powder, salt, garlic powder, parsley, and thyme.
Add cold coconut oil or butter. Cut it into the flour mixture using a pastry cutter or fingers until crumbly.
Stir in milk gradually until a soft dough forms. Do not overmix.
Drop spoonfuls of dough onto the baking sheet. Bake for 15–18 minutes, until golden.
Cool slightly and serve:
